About Us

The Holmes family has been raising and caring for animals for decades. In the late 1990s, we saw an opportunity to bring better quality and more variety to animal bedding. With our dad, Rod Holmes, in the timber industry, we had access to clean wood byproducts—so, in 1998, he started producing and bagging bedding for local farm and garden retailers.Today, we produce over 3,000,000 bales annually and distribute into 28 states. Our “No Waste in Wood” approach has guided us from day one, including creating South Carolina’s first animal bedding pellet in 2006. We’re proud to operate with a zero-waste, recycle-focused mindset.Thank you,

- Easy to pick - clumps in the stall and by using a small tine fork, you will remove the waste and the good product falls through the forks, leaving behind little waste which saves time and money.
- Saves Time & Money - you don’t have to strip the stall as often. Just add more product to the stall once you clean it.
