Our Story

As an avid horse and pet family in the late 1990's, We, The Holmes Family, saw a need for product diversity and quality improvements in the animal bedding industry. At the time, our dad. Rod, was also in the timber industry and had access to lumber byproducts and round wood logs. In 1998, he began bagging for many feed and seed, farm and garden centers. We have grown over the years to become a leader in the industry in product knowledge, production, transportation and sales. We presently produce over 30000 bales a year and offer product from one of our plants in 28 states. Our philosophy of "No Waste In Wood" lead us to creating the first animal bedding pellet in SC in 2006. We live by a zero waste, recycle mentality that is a part of our fabric. Extra Fine

- 100% Kiln Dried Pine – odor control
- Virtually dust fee - Triple screened to remove irritating dust. Great for older horses with respiratory problems
- Super absorbent – the most absorbent product on the market because of the small particle design. Substantially more absorbent than traditional shavings.
- Easy to pick - clumps in the stall and by using a small tine fork, you will remove the waste and the good product falls through the forks, leaving behind little waste which saves time and money
- Saves Time & Money - you don’t have to strip the stall as often. Just add more product to the stall once you clean it
- Consistency – because of our process, we control the particle size so every bag you buy is the same each time.
- Deconstructed pellet – this is the byproduct used often for making pelleted bedding. There is no wetting this product down like a traditional pellet so it’s easier to use.

- A mix of PF8 Large Flake and FB Fine Bedding – the best of both worlds – a mix of large flake for loft and cushion with the absorbency of a finer bedding for absorption

Gold Bedding

- 100% Kiln Dried Pine White Pine Shavings
- The most Premium shavings available – this species of wood is not as readily available as Southern Yellow Pine
- Odor control – this smells the best!
- Softest flakes, most loft and absorbency of most regular sized shavings
- Screened to remove irritating dust.
- Great for show pigs – the white pine doesn’t stain their fur
- Easy to pick – finer smaller particles
